On Monday, 6 October 2025, Caribbean Export Development Agency, together with the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator, hosted the second webinar of the Open Innovation Series: “Implementing Open Innovation Strategies in the Caribbean – By Caribbean, For Caribbean Businesses.”
The session introduced the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator programme and discussed how Caribbean corporates and SMEs can adopt open innovation to enhance competitiveness, overcome resource constraints, and build stronger collaboration networks.
Speakers shared insights from Curaçao’s innovation ecosystem and showcased IDMAPS’ experience as a Caribbean company successfully implementing open innovation strategies.
The webinar highlighted the region’s growing potential to embrace open innovation, strengthen competitiveness, and connect with the global digital ecosystem through the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator.
