We are the acceleration bridge between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean

The EU-LAC Digital Accelerator is an initiative financed under the Neighborhood, Development & International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI-Global Europe) under the EU-LAC Digital Alliance framework, focused on fostering multi-stakeholder and private sector collaboration, competitiveness, digital skills and innovation, through the establishment of a regional EU-LAC Digital Accelerator.

Goals

Establish high potential digital areas for collaboration opportunities jointly with EU and LAC countries.

Facilitate the connection between corporate challenges and innovative solutions coming from startups and SMEs.

Develop sound joint business cases through the provision of acceleration services tailored to the needs of each partnership.

Connect digital projects with relevant public and private investors to financially enable them.

We are part of the EU-LAC Digital Alliance

The EU-LAC Digital Alliance is the first regional digital partnership between the Latin American and Caribbean countries (LAC) and the European Union (EU).

The launch of the EU-LAC Digital Alliance is a key milestone in strengthening the partnership between the two regions, establishing a values-based framework for digital cooperation for a vast ecosystem of stakeholders from the EU and LAC countries. The Alliance is part of the Global Gateway, the European strategy to boost smart, clean and secure links in digital, energy and transport sectors and to strengthen health, education and research systems across the world.

EBAN is the European Business Angels Network acting as the pan- European representative for the early-stage investor community gathering over 100 member organizations in more than 50 countries Its mission is driving successful and responsible Angel Investing in Europe.

Expertise France is the French international technical cooperation agency, with a status of public institution under the joint supervision of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministries for the Economy, Finance and the Recovery. Its mission is to design and implement international technical cooperation projects.

Tecnalia Colombia is a technological development and innovation center dedicated to the preparation and execution of applied research projects, development of new technologies and transfer activities to respond to the needs of the industry.

WAYRA Hispam is the technological innovation hub started in Latin America and Spain as an initiative of Telefónica, connecting technological disruptors to scale them up and accelerate their business. It offers investment and smooth interface between entrepreneurs and corporates, governments and other partners.

Caribbean Export is the regional trade and investment promotion agency focused on building a resilient Caribbean by providing cutting-edge and high-impact support to the private sector. It contributes towards the creation of jobs, transformation of the Caribbean economies through working closely with businesses to increase exports and attract investment.

BID Lab  is the innovation laboratory of the Inter-American Investment Bank aimed at promoting early-stage entrepreneurial innovations in the region. It is the leading source of development finance and expertise for improving lives in Latin America and the Caribbean.
