Held at Parc Floral, Paris, on October 15-16, Meet’up Greentech 2024 brought together French startups, corporate innovators, and public sector representatives, focused on advancing sustainable technology. Organized by EcoLab under the Ministry of Ecology, the event fostered collaboration and innovation across Europe’s Greentech landscape, with our partner, Expertise France, representing the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator.
The two-day agenda covered a broad range of topics tailored to facilitate impactful partnerships. Opening presentations emphasized the importance of environmental sustainability, showcasing the latest trends and growth areas in Greentech.
Sessions highlighted the role of French startups in water conservation, pollution mitigation, and energy efficiency, creating a compelling framework for future partnerships. Networking sessions further enabled startups, corporate innovation teams, and public entities to connect and explore synergies, with a specific emphasis on fostering resilience in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Our colleague Clément Lafargue, working in Open Innovation and Corporate Venturing at Expertise France, held strategic meetings with various corporates and business support organizations (BSOs) to lay the groundwork for collaboration.
Engaging directly with leading corporates such as Michelin, ADP, Volvo Trucks (XCAMP), ICADE, RSM, Sercel, Transdev, and Suez, our partner explored collaborative opportunities to advance projects in sustainable innovation.
Expertise France also connected with several business support organizations, including EcoLab, ADEME, PEXE, Cleantech Open France, Biotech Santé Bretagne, and XMobility Le Mans, establishing networks to Greentech initiatives. Additionally, discussions with startups such as Luniwave, known for water-saving technologies, and Greenskin, focusing on pollution-mitigating infrastructure, showcased innovative solutions aligning with France’s sustainable development goals.
