Santo Domingo, February 27, 2025 – Grupo Corripio, in partnership with the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator programme and IESE Business School, held a Pitching Day on February 26. The event focused on solving strategic challenges in manufacturing, maintenance, inventory, quality, and sales through open innovation and collaboration with tech startups from Europe and Latin America.
This event, co-created by Grupo Corripio and the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator, was designed as a strategic collaboration platform to identify innovative digital solutions that address key industry challenges. The event followed a hybrid format, featuring in-person participation from Grupo Corripio executives and remote connections from IESE and participating startups.
Strategic Challenges Addressed at the Pitching Day
Grupo Corripio’s companies have identified critical operational challenges and are seeking innovative solutions in areas such as inventory optimisation and demand forecasting, AI-driven sales and planning, quality control in manufacturing, and predictive maintenance. Companies including Manuel Corripio (MACOR), Ramón Corripio (RACO), Alambres y Cables (ALCA), Pisos y Techados (PITE), Autos Corripio (AUCO), LANCO, Cereales en General (CENG), and Planta Coasis have defined these challenges to enhance their operational efficiency and market competitiveness.

To address these challenges, the following startups presented their solutions during the event:
- Dribia (Spain) – AI for inventory optimisation and maintenance.
- Flyde (Spain) – Sales optimisation platforms.
- Datup (Colombia) – Inventory and sales management solutions.
- Allie (Mexico) – Technologies for maintenance and manufacturing.
- MonitorApp (Mexico) – Quality control, manufacturing, and inventory.
- AlgoLabs (Argentina) – Innovation in quality management and manufacturing.
- Gexia (Colombia) – Technology for industrial maintenance.
- Bruna AI (Chile) – AI applied to sales and quality.
As part of the acceleration process, the event will continue online on March 12, when startups from Italy, Greece, Brazil, Germany, and Spain will present additional solutions aligned with Grupo Corripio’s challenges.
About the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator
The EU-LAC Digital Accelerator is a programme funded under the European Commission’s Global Gateway initiative, fostering collaboration between startups and companies to develop innovative digital solutions with real industry impact. The program will run until 2027.
Operating across the European Union, Latin America, and the Caribbean, the accelerator is backed by a consortium of strategic partners, including Tecnalia Research and Innovation, Octantis, IESE Business School, the European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN), the European Business Angels Network (EBAN), Expertise France, Tecnalia Colombia, Wayra Hispam, and the Caribbean Export Development Agency. As a local partner, Caribbean Export also plays an active role in identifying business challenges and connecting startups in the region, reinforcing the program’s impact on the innovation ecosystem.

Its focus on continuous improvement and advanced technology adoption has strengthened collaboration with startups and fostered high-impact solutions.
Next Steps
The pre-selected startups will now move forward to work directly with Grupo Corripio’s companies, collaborating on the development of pilot projects during Q3 and Q4 of the year.
