On Wednesday, 7 May 2025, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Panama organised the webinar “Connecting digital innovation in Panama with Europe and the Caribbean” along with the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator.
This event aimed to present the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator as an opportunity for Panama’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem to strengthen its business relations, especially in the digital field, with Europe and the Caribbean.
After a few introductory words from Carolina Cárdenas García, Executive Director of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Panama, Javier Arregui, EU representative in Panama, explained the context in which the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator is operating.
Later, we dived into the heart of the topic with Maika Gorostidi, Director of the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator, who explained the concept of the accelerator and the eligibility requirements.
Federico Kramer, Open Innovation Consultant at Octantis detailed the services provided by the accelerator and also referred to the matching platform, where companies with no partner can find their innovation soulmate.
