On 9 and 10 March 2026, the Embassy of Argentina in Madrid welcomed a delegation of Argentinian software and technology companies.

They were in Spain on a business mission organised by Argentina’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, which then continued to Milan.

The Madrid programme included meetings with ICEX-Invest in Spain, Invest in Madrid and Banco Sabadell’s BStartup hub. The EU-LAC Digital Accelerator was invited to meet the group at the embassy.

The companies had come to find clients and partners in Europe. So the team brought a selection of digital transformation challenges set by European corporates, chosen for the companies in the room.

For each challenge, it pointed to where a collaboration could start. Several of the companies were looking for new partners. Others already worked with European ones.

Both groups showed interest in the challenges and in working with European companies.

The team thanked these companies for their interest: Ampina Soft, Kunan, Ithreex Global, CERP, Xcapit, Robots for Humanity, Morcap, Cuántico Technology, Auben, Vortex IT, Kovix, Moova, Borderless Software, Goldway, Menhir Sistemas, Mindfatory and Griftin Outsourcing IT.

The team’s conclusion from the meeting was simple:

  • A good product is rarely enough to break into a market on another continent.
  • It also takes the right contacts in the market you want to enter.

The EU-LAC Digital Accelerator is now working to turn the conversations started in Madrid into partnerships and business between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
