However, most cognitive health evaluations remain very manual (paper-based questionnaires, pen-and-paper memory tests, etc.) and clinically detached from daily life.

This can lead to:

  • Limited accessibility in low-resource or remote communities

As a consequence, caregivers and clinicians struggle to respond to early signs of conditions like dementia. In a world where over 55 million people live with dementia – and nearly 10 million new cases arise annually – these gaps translate into delayed interventions, lower quality of life, and higher long-term healthcare costs.

How music, VR, and AI work together to track brain health

Dingolé is a Trinidad & Tobago-based startup that develops VR music-based platforms for cognitive engagement and assessment. Its solution, Panjam+, transforms gameplay into real-time cognitive measurement. Each music-driven task – striking a note, recalling a sequence – maps to specific executive functions such as attention, memory, and motor coordination, while AI tracks user performance (reaction time, accuracy, rhythmic precision).

Its solution provides control and analysis tools for warehouse management. It also leverages AI to provide deeper insights into stock, operators, and processes.

By progressively adopting Dingolé’s Panjam+ platform, Digi Learnnials achieves new cognitive care capacities:

  1. Real-time cognitive visibility: Clinicians can see exactly how a user’s attention, memory, and coordination evolve session by session. This enables early detection of decline and rapid adjustments to care plans.
  2. Automated, stigma-free tracking: Panjam+ replaces stressful, paper-based tests with engaging VR gameplay. Users don’t feel “tested”, they feel immersed in music. Meanwhile, AI silently generates clinically relevant analytics without disrupting the experience.
  3. Personalised gameplay: The system adapts difficulty and music styles to each user’s cultural background and cognitive level, keeping them motivated while collecting consistent performance data.
  4. AI-driven intervention insights: Panjam+ analyses historical gameplay and current trends to predict which cognitive functions may need support soon, helping therapists plan proactive interventions.

  • Service °1: PoC design & Prototyping

The work focused on defining a preliminary validation plan for Panjam+, a VR-based system that captures behavioral data while users perform music and rhythm-based tasks. It included mapping relevant cognitive functions, such as attention, memory, executive function and motor coordination, against measurable interaction data generated inside the virtual environment. It also defined the technical validation of the VR system, the design of a pilot study, the collection of user data, and the first analytical steps needed to explore whether Panjam+ metrics can provide meaningful cognitive insights.

  • Service n°2: Business model design

The Business Model Design service helps Dingolé and Digi Learnnials develop a sustainable, scalable commercial strategy for Panjam+. This includes identifying optimal revenue models (e.g., B2B subscriptions for eldercare providers, licensing to public health agencies, or pay-per-use in clinics), defining value propositions for different customer segments, and mapping cost structures. 

  • Service n°3: International growth & Soft landing 

This service will help Dingolé design a strategy to expand Panjam+ into Latin American markets (via Digi Learnnials’ network) by identifying:

– Entry barriers: e.g. Regulatory requirements for health data (GDPR, HIPAA-equivalent norms), VR hardware availability.
Key opportunities: e.g. Eldercare providers seeking non-invasive assessment tools, public health agencies focused on ageing-in-place.
– Best practices: e.g. Localising music and language content for Argentine and broader LAC audiences, training local therapists on VR-based cognitive tools.

This service prepares the partnership to raise capital for scaling Panjam+. This includes refining the investor pitch deck, developing financial models, identifying key valuation drivers, and crafting a compelling data room. 

Finally, the matchmaking component connects the partnership with impact investors, venture capital firms, and corporate innovation funds active in healthtech and ageing-tech across Europe and Latin America.
