Open innovation: How Brazilian corporates & startups can connect with Europe and the Caribbean

During the session, Maika Gorostidi, Co-Director of the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator, along with Federico Kramer, Open Innovation Consultant, will expand on how Brazilian corporates and startups can “match” with other businesses in Europe and the Caribbean, either to:

• Improve productivity or a product (from a corporate perspective)
• Validate a digital solution with a real client (from a startup perspective).

N.B. Since this webinar is in English, any English speaker from one of the regions where the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator operates (the European Union, Latin America, or the Caribbean) is welcome to join.

Programme

The webinar will tackle the following topics:

• The EU-LAC Digital Accelerator programme and its 5th open innovation call.
• Matching Platform: A B2B marketplace where corporates and startups can find each other. The platform currently features around 2,000 startups and 40+ corporate challenges.
• The programme’s acceleration services: Proof of Concept, internationalisation strategy, scaling into corporate structures, etc. The average rating of the services is 8.9/10.
• Available financial support: Up to €10,500 in funding for selected startups to carry out their proof of concept with their corporate partner.
• Success stories & impact: Startups, SMEs and corporates that participated in the first four calls and succeeded in entering new markets, scaling a pilot, and more.
