On 17 June 2026, the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator and PRODUTECH DIH hosted a webinar introducing Portuguese companies to the opportunities available through the programme. The event formed part of the PRODUTECH Digital Innovation Hub initiative, which supports the digital transition of the manufacturing industry and fosters innovation across the sector’s ecosystem.
The session presented the programme’s funding opportunities, including financial support available for selected proof-of-concept projects, as well as its acceleration services covering areas such as proof-of-concept design, internationalisation, business model development, and scaling solutions within corporate environments.
Participants also learned how the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator helps companies identify international partners through its Matching Platform, enabling startups, SMEs, and corporates to collaborate on innovation challenges and develop market-ready solutions through structured open innovation processes.
The webinar highlighted how Portuguese companies can use the programme not only to access funding, but also to expand their international networks and establish long-term collaborations with businesses and innovation stakeholders across Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
