During the past week, the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator, represented by Jone Retolaza, participated in the Energy Tech Summit (9-10 April 2025 in Bilbao), which is recognised as Europe’s leading industry conference for climate technology. The Energy Tech Summit convenes global energy and climate investors, entrepreneurs, and government leaders for an annual two-day event focused on addressing the most pressing challenges in the energy sector and fostering innovation and collaboration in the transition to clean energy.
At the summit, initial contact was established with more than ten European venture capital firms, with whom potential future collaborations will be explored.
Furthermore, the accelerator facilitated a connection between a Latin American corporation and a European startup, to support the development of a mutually beneficial partnership.
In addition, two further corporate entities have expressed interest in engaging with the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator in the coming weeks to discuss potential collaborative opportunities.
Moreover, an ecosystem has been fostered by introducing existing corporate collaborators to one another, enabling them to exchange experiences, compare results, and strengthen their professional networks.
