Representing the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator, Livia Marcantonio from EBN contributed to the session “EU–Latin America Cooperation on Circular Economy”, highlighting how open innovation partnerships between corporates and startups can help bring sustainable solutions closer to market while addressing environmental and industrial challenges.
The intervention focused on the programme’s impact, showcasing examples of corporate-startup collaborations that are advancing circular economy objectives and demonstrating how structured acceleration services support the validation, scaling, and internationalisation of innovative solutions.
The discussion also explored the role of the private sector in driving the green transition and identified opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean through collaborative innovation and knowledge exchange.
